· Small Brooder approximate dimensions- 541mm long x 295mm deep x 535mm high.
· Large Brooder approximate dimensions-541mmlong x
455mm deep x 535mm high
· These Brooders run on a thermostat which operates 2 x 60globes .The lights turn on if the temperature is below the set temperature, and then off when the box reaches the set temperature. 2 globes ensure ongoing heat source if one globe blows.
· The large brooder has a 12 volt fan as well
· The highest temperature it can be set at is 40 degrees Celsius
· The thermostat automatically controls temperature to run the temperature you set, and does not need to be adjusted manually to suit outside conditions (i.e. in a cold room, or on a hot day the box is set at the one temperature, and only heats when required).
· The temperature probe is mounted inside the box, yet the thermostat is mounted in the bottom drop door on the inside.
· The brooder box is made from melamine and has two removable trays allowing easy cleaning, and vary hygienic.
· These brooders have been used for hand raising Rosellas, Superbs, Major Mitchell’s, and more.
· The thermostat comes with a 12 month warranty as well
