The pictures speak a thousand words. This girl is bright bright red with the most beautiful sheen in her feathers. She is simply perfect. Her parents have given me babies each year without fail. I absolutely love the Red Lory with their personalities and colours. She is definitely a SHE, she is closed rung and I have her surgical sexing certificate from Jim Gill, an Avian Vet (the best!). These guys sit on their eggs nicely and won't try to remove parts of your anatomy when you go to inspect them. How do I know this? I have her older sisters who are now breeding. I have 3 generations of these beautiful birds. Their babies make great little pets too if you don't mind the 'poop a minute' thing. They are a real pleasure to have around!

The pictures are of her and her brother. Sorry, the male is not for sale. He is just a tad bigger than her but you would have to look hard to see the difference. They are closed rung, her number is 383.

These beautiful birds are from a sound genetic background from healthy, handraised, unrelated parents who are excellent breeders and have never plucked a single feather!

Did you know - Good breeding stock starts with good parents, a comfortable aviary with both sun and trees that provide cool shade in Summer, and a good diet? My Reds are fed a variety of fresh fruit, red and green vegetable leaves which I grow here chemical free, and sprouted seed every day. This keeps them and their chicks in top condition.

I have also written a detailed feeding guide which includes a variation of wet and dry mix recipes to help both the experienced and inexperienced lory owner to keep the little guys happy and healthy.

Asking price is $1200. Please note I will only let her go to a good home. All my birds come with my feeding guide plus lifetime phone support (Call me for any reason or advice. I know my birdies well!).
