Selling my registered purebred arabian mare. She is a grey 14 year old from Crabbet bloodlines. She has had one foal to date. She is broken in, easy to catch, rug, worm, trim feet etc. Gorgeous nature, loves hanging around and being part of it all. Great with kids and dogs. Only reason for selling is because I am a beginner and she was bred for endurance so when I get in the saddle she tries to take advantage of that and goes just that little bit too fast for me (I wanted a quiet plotter to build confidence and for trail rides). She was offered to us as a project as she had been in a paddock for a couple of years. We took her on as she was very thin and in poor condition and spooked for the slightest movement. She is a different horse now. She can be ridden with ease, takes a lot to spook her these days as she spends all day on our property with our 5 dogs, 2 kids, chickens and ducks running around her at all times. She had her teeth done end of last year, regular worming and feet trims, baths and brushing. She has been a joy to have around but she is no good being left in a paddock because I'm not confident enough in the saddle. I have ridden her numerous times and I can handle her but I feel I am constantly fighting her and think she would be more suited to a more experienced home. She has had no diseases or injuries and is in top condition.
Only selling to the best of homes as she is very loved by my whole family and will be greatly missed.
