Basenjis originate from Africa, where they are used for hunting small game( rats, mice and rabbits). They DO NOT BARK, but are not mute. Clean as a cat, NO body odour and don't dribble. Not suitable with birds. A GOOD FENCE IS A MUST!!!!!
