Red is an extremely quiet stallion. He was handled by my 13yo grandson from birth and will stand without halter to have feet picked out. Stands quietly to put on halter, walks on and off float. Leads and ties.
He is for sale due to our not having mares for him. He has wonderful action and would make a superb riding pony. He stands at just over 14.1 hands and is built like a tank. A really good doer and does not turn a hair at traffic. We graze him on our roadside with dairy trucks, cattle, motorcycles etc passing and it doesn't phase him.
His mother is our registered AQPA mare Red Sonja and his sire is Ima cool skip aka Archer. Archer has been doing very well in dressage, he is a leopard appaloosa.
Red is a solid chestnut with a quarterhorse build.
We have NOT broken him to saddle.
He has been very well handled and had people lay over his back. He would start under saddle very quickly.
At 5 years old, Red is ready to do a lot with the right rider. We are happy to talk terms. Asking price $1500, this is half what we had on him due to the current market.
He will come with a full pedigree.
