It is with great sadness I offer my beautiful boy Black for sale, however due to other commitments I cannot give him the time he deserves.
Black is a 4 year old Standardbred gelding (BUT WAIT! Before you think 'Standardbred' and scroll down... I'd read a bit further first) he stands at approximately 15.2hh, he has impeccable ground manners, is sound, easy to trim, float & load, worm and catch (He comes when called). He is very smart with a soft snaffle mouth, expressive movement and amazing self carriage - which is why I have been training him for dressage, (Honestly it hurts me to sell him as I know with the right rider he will go far) He also doesn't mind trail riding and will pop over a jump no problem. He has started in hand work. Black is responsive to the leg, moves off your leg and understands flexion. He has been ridden by my beginner partner on trails (With my other horse as company) and has also been ridden off the lead by a seven year old beginner boy. He does not rear, buck, bolt or pigroot, he is very respectful under saddle. Black has three beautiful paces and an established walk trot and canter. He is a dream to ride and the feeling of his movement and collection is incredible, he is one of the nicest horses I've ever ridden and would compare him on the same par as my previous warmblood gelding.
