Runestar Forest Cats are registered breeders with the QFA. I have a stunning Blue and White Female available. Spotty is a little older as I was holding her for her new owner who has a sick mother to now care for. She is very sweet natured with lovely green eyes and a great Norwegian expression.

The Norwegian Forest cat is a large, robust breed that developed in the harsh-wintered areas of Northern Europe. In the winter months the hair is long with a characteristic lion like mane, knickerbockers, tufted ears and a bushy tail, which they proudly show off. The undercoat is shed in the spring and so a once weekly brush through will assist with this. They are relatively healthy and come in a wide range of colours and patterns. Eyes range from and range from emerald green to gold.

NFC’S are not only beautiful on the outside but the inside too. They are intelligent, confident; affectionate and develop close bonds with humans and other animals including dogs, cats and children. The more affection you give them the more they want. They are too big to be lap cats but they like to be close to their companions and do not like to be left alone for long periods. They are quite active cats not prone to sleeping for long periods but follow you around getting involved in everything you do. They have a quiet voice for such a robust cat.

In summary they are magnificent cats that are also intelligent, active, very affectionate, loyal, playful, great with children and other pets and easy to care for.
