THE NEW SOUTH WALES CICHLID SOCIETY INC

The aim of this Society shall be the study, discussion and Furtherance of all matters pertaining to the Family CICHLIDAE, and the environment, to be promoted by periodical meetings, Possible excursions and the displaying of specimens, and by The publication of notes to members and other clubs when deemed desirable.

NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS:

Members must renew at the July 2015 Meeting to be financial.

Members, if you are NOT financial in July 2015, you are unable to put lots into the Major Auction in October 2015.

JULY 2015 MEETING DETAILS

DATE: Saturday 4th of July 2015

TIME: 7:30PM Start

WHERE: Nuwarra Public School, Mckay Ave, Moorebank NSW

Come along to our July 2015 Meeting – “DIY Night”.

Members will be running DIY stations featuring DIY filters, DIY sponge filtration and DIY tank making and restoration.

The members will be there to answer any questions you may have in relation to their DIY session and to give you tips for you own DIY!

In addition to the DIY sessions, there will also be a mini auction.

If you haven’t been to one of our meetings, now is your chance!

At one point or another, every species of Cichlid has come through our auctions. You are bound to grab a great bargain for quality fish.

Whether you are looking for a rare species, or adding to your community tank – our auctions should be able to help! Other species of fish also come through our auctions – like L number Catfish!

BIDDING RULES

All bids will be in whole dollar units.

Bids will be in minimum amounts of

$1 increments from $1 to $20.

$2 increments from $20 to $50.

$5 increments beyond $50 and $10 bids after $100.

ENTRY FEES

Financial members entry is free!

All visitors are welcome to come along to our meetings!

Entry for Visitor: $2 Per Adult

Children under 18: Free (we may check ID)

Visitors are able to become member’s on the night.

Feel free to ask Nick at the door about becoming a member!

NOTE TO MEMBERS: You can start renewing your memberships this month.

All member’s booking in fish for our mini auction please bag your fish properly ensuring that you follow our bagging rules. Your bags may be rejected at the scrutineering table if we believe it is not up to the bagging quality required!
