"Lady" bay arab x mare, 14 hh, 7 years old. Forward moving ground covering little mare, would like to see her in endurance. We have decided to offer Lady now as is TO SUITABLE EXPEREINCED HOME for $500 as a project pony.
Lady has had several rides and is quite a nice calm ride who moves out well, however due to lack of handling at an earlier age she does need a lot of one on one handling. We feel she is better placed in a home with an owner who can concentrate solely (or mostly) on her groundwork and getting her to trust them as this is her main issue. She can tie up, lead, rug, hose, load on float, worm, be bridled, pick up hooves, lunge, be saddled and has had several rides. Absolutely no nasties, simply very unsure about us humans. She will require a confident intermediate to experienced rider and handler to carry on with her.
Asking $500.
Please note you WILL be required to view in person and demonstrate your ability to handle and ride this horse before we will let her go.
