Learn how to feel confident and in control when your horse has a health emergency

This clinic is designed to give you the knowledge on how to help your horse during an emergency or illness using easily obtained herbs, homeopathics and flower essences. You will come away knowing the essential vital signs of your horse – what’s normal and what’s not. You will learn about how to treat a cut, stop bleeding, bandaging, applying a poultice, reducing pain, treating an infection and much, much more.

Just some of the points to be covered include:

• Inflammation, sprains and strains
• Cuts, sores, open wounds & injuries
• Coughs, colds and infections
• Feet, poulticing, vital signs, colic assistance
• Bandaging practice
• Making useful herbal ointments
• Putting together a useful first aid kit and vital sign charts
• Open forum at the end of the day to discuss any specific questions/conditions
