F.S. Aulonocara rubescens - Red Rubin Peacocks

Up for sale are some young Red Rubin Peacocks. These are roughly 4-5cm and cost $6 each.

Red Rubins are a fairly peaceful cichlid growing around 15cm at maximum size. Males display a vibrant red-orange across the body with a iridescent blue head that resembles the colour of electric blue males. They are one of few cichlids that has a striking red/orange colour. Females remain a brown tone with a light stripes. Young fry resemble females until the males colour up and start to mature.

The pictures of males shown are of just some of the males I have raised, with many generations colouring up in a similar way.
