Up for sale is a handful of P. polit males. I have only 2-3 definite juvenile males at around 7cm - $15 each and 2 full grown adult males for $25 each.
Amazing fish when coloured. Without females it is recommended to keep a few males together help them show each others colour through competition. Cave like territories also assist in making them have dominance and displaying.
The colour of polits is a amazing powder blue, which reflects the aquarium lights perfectly. Their colour particularly 'pops' when dominant or under cool tone lights (6500K) making them really something special. Still a fairly rare cichlid, they are also unique by their strong blue/white colour against the contrast of their black head. Females are a brown tone colouration with black patterns across the flank of the body.
