Up for sale is some Lake Victorian crimson tides - Astatotilapia latifasciata. Size is approximately 4cm and cost is $5 each. Males are at the size they will be starting to colour strongly, which considering the size most cichlids take to colour, makes an excellent addition for display tanks. Please note I sell my fish as a random assortment of males and females.
Crimsons grow a decent size and bring reds and yellows into the aquarium. Males have a sunset like 'crimson' red colour, hence the nickname of the fish. Females aren't silver and have a slight yellow tone and black stripes, which makes them also a decent fish for display.
Photos listed are of males from a previous batch I had grown to a larger 5-6cm size.
