Chestnut gelding
Regretful sale of my rising 5yo quarter horse ‘Juice’.
Purchased this horse as a colt when he was 11 months old.
Juice has been gelded, broken in and is well handled. He’s great to catch, will come running for food and keeps great in the paddock.
He was professionally broken in by Steven Hart who is well know for his camp drafting and horseman ship clinics. As a result juice has a lovely soft mouth and comfortable paces.
He has been ridden alongside dogs, cars, push bikes and motorbikes and was stabled as a colt near an old steam train station so he takes a fair bit to give him a fright.
He has also been on trail rides alone and with other horses without a fuss and is happy to keep walking if everyone in front canters off.. he loves water and I’ve been swimming on him a few times.
After being broken in I spent approx 8 months working him going over the basics before sending him out to spell.
He spent approx 12 months down in young growing bigger and fatter now he’s come back to work all grown up and ready to go. I have ridden him about 20 times since his return from young and he hasn’t put a foot wrong, picking up exactly where we left off.
I am 4 months pregnant and have decided to stop riding while until after I’ve had the baby. Having just had a 12 month spell juice is ready to get back into work and I don’t want to see him go to waste.
A lot of love and time has been invested into this horse and he is exceptionally relaxed for his age and experience.
Juice would be the prefect 2nd horse for anyone looking to step up from their beginner pony and move up at pony club, sporting games, barrels, team penning ect
