BREEDING PAIR - RAGDOLL CATS

Our beautiful 2 and 3 year old rag dolls, Aslan and Lillika, are in need of a loving new home. They have always lived inside our home and in our enclosed, sunny back verandah, but recently our dogs made it onto the verandah and attacked Lillika, injuring her eye and causing her to be extremely traumatised. We have resecured the verandah but the dogs are now super aware that Aslan and Lillika are there and are making it their mission in life to reach them. Lillika is stressed by their barking and our neighbours are unhappy. We have tried everything we can think of but I have reluctantly decided that they need to be in a home without dogs or where they don’t have to have any contact with them. I observed Lillika and Aslan mating 3 times prior to the attack and if she is in kitten this will be her first litter. I am very, very sad, having waited until she was 2 and old enough to have a litter, to have to rehome her at this point, but if she is pregnant I don’t want her to spend it frightened and stressed. I am looking for a genuine, cat loving home who will adore them and value them. We have 8 children and they have been loved to bits
and are well socialised. It has been difficult to decide whether to keep our dogs or our cats but we think it would be harder to find our older dogs great homes.
