Axolotls are also known as the mexican walking fish. However they are not actually a fish, they are an amphibian. They thrive in cold water tanks away from direct sunlight. Axolotls should always have a bare bottom or soil based tank. They can grow up to 20 - 40cm’s! The best thing about them is they can regenerate body parts & limbs.
