I am looking for paid or volunteer work at as a stable hand at an establishment in Brisbane, or exercising and help training or re-educating horses. I have had three years of riding lessons under the supervision of instructors a one of the first riding schools in Australia to be Accredited to the HorseSafe Code of Practice (Welcome Horse Riding, Mt Samson), as well as previous riding experience. I ride at competent level, have a natural seat position, am very adaptable to different horses, and have experience dealing with bolters and horses with very hard mouths. I have ridden many different breeds and sizes, including 17hh ex-racehorses, and Clydesdales. I have a basic knowledge in lateral work and dressage, and jumping experience. I have had three years of experience grooming and handling horses. I have had some experience mucking out and feeding.
