BIRD BEHAVIOURAL / TRAINING WORKSHOP

Workshop aim:
The workshop not only provides students with a clear understanding of the principles of parrot behaviour but also offers useful techniques of diagnosis and treatment for specific problems, covering both normal and abnormal parrot behaviour.

Workshop content includes but not limited to:
· Captive enrichment and general enclosure setup
· Dietary requirements for avian species
· Capture and Transportation
· Understanding your bird’s body language(and yours)
· Basic training principles and application
· Dealing with difficult birds
· Avian diseases and their management
· Hand rearing
· Question and answer session
