Hello everyone

I was wondering if any one out there has an old horse that is just sitting around that may suit our daughter to ride. She is just starting to canter on the little pony we have...she is still a little nervous but is keen to keep learning.

She does team penning, mustering and pony club so the horse would have to be good around cattle but not get TOO excited to work the cattle fast. MUST not bolt, buck, rear up, kick or bite. An older plodder would be great....LOOKS NOT IMPORTANT...BUT SAFETY IS. 13 to 14.2hh.

Perfer to lease with an option to buy or Free lease. She needs to move off the pony so her siblings can learn to ride too.

We rug our horses day and night, they are fed day and night, drenched regularly and we dont hesitate to contact a vet when needed, the horses here are kept clipped manes and tidy tails and have shoes on at all times. We live and work on a large cattle property where the horses have large paddocks to run in and the paddocks are sown down to pasture every year.(as long as it rains of course)

Would prefer to lease one from Hunter, Upper Hunter, Tamworth, Dubbo, Mudgee districts. May consider other NSW areas.
