Eeyore

Eeyore is a beautiful bay gelding, he has a lovely nature and you can do anything with him, halter, lead, tie, trim feet, rug saddle, bridle etc and has been floated with no dramas. Eeyore was born with a birth defect causing him to have upside down ears or "lop" as some people would call them. His ears do not effect him in anyway, though halters and bridles tend to push on his ears if left on or let ride up. If a custom halter/bridle could be made i can safely say he will become a great riding horse once broken in. Eeyore needs to go to a home which will spend some time with him as if left for long periods of time he becomes a bit spooky to catch, however once you have him in a halter he is fine again and will stand around all day for pats. Eeyore is fine in a paddock with other horses but if in a small stable yard and another horse walks in he becomes defensive and will kick at them, i gather he does this as other horses don't seem to understand him because of the placement of his ears and the signals he puts out and i believe when he was young he was picked on badly by other horses. When we first purchased Eeyore he came up to our patio and visitors commented on how inquisitive and friendly he was, as he put his head in everyones lap for a pat.

Eeyore needs his feet fixed as when I bought him they were in a discusting state and are slowly being fixed up as we go. He is also gaining weight as he was very lean when we bought him. Many photos available apon request, however they never show the real "cute" that you would see in real life.

Expressions of interest at this time as we want to fatten him up and try and correct his feet a bit before sale.

I will not sell to doggers, dealers, or someone trying to make a quick buck. He needs a good loving and long term/permanent home.
