BIRDFEST Bird Sale Sunday 10th March 2019 birds, products!
'BIRDFEST' is our annual bird sale on Sunday 10th March 2019.
With over sixty vendors selling aviary-bred birds this is one sale not to be missed!
Approx one thousand birds will be on sale including native & exotic parrots, finches, budgies, doves, canaries, quail, plus permitted/licensed species & hand-raised pet parrots.
Venue: Assembly Hall, Smith Street, Cleveland, on Brisbane's bayside, Queensland (see Google maps for Birdfest). Venue has clear signage on the day.
Bird sale starts at 9.00am until 12 noon. Public access to outside trade stands from 8.30am.
Admission is $2 per person, children under 14 free.
Free on-street parking, and limited off-street parking, some on bitumen.
Venue has disabled access at front.
ALL sales of birds and products are strictly between the buyer and seller. Bird sellers and buyers must abide by all government animal welfare regulations.
Buyers and sellers of Permitted (licensed) native birds are bound by the Nature Conservation (Wildlife Management) Regulations 2006. Buyers and sellers of Permitted species must bring and show their original Recreational Wildlife Licence to buy or sell those species.
Our Code of Practice (on the vendor form) applies to all vendors.
Bird vendor tables $15 each. Trade tables $25 each. Vendor and one assistant admitted free with each booking.

Our preferred method of vendors payment is by direct bank deposit EFT (details on booking form). Vendors please use their last name (family name, surname) as reference for bank deposit.

All bird vendors who are members of QBBC are covered by the QBBC's Public Liability Insurance. Commercial trade vendors must have their own Public Liability Insurance.
Bird vendors can bench their birds Saturday 4pm to 6pm, or Sunday morning 6am to 8.30am.
Movement Advices on the day $5 each, paper ONLY (fees cover government-imposed costs).
ALL bird-keeping products will be for sale: bird seed varieties in up to 20kg bags, nest boxes, carry boxes, cages, aviaries, nets, lory food, drinkers, feeders, bird toys, leg rings, pet bird hammocks, shoulder protector capes, bird diet supplements,avian insecticides, wormers and much more! See our club's Sales Table list on our website. Vet onsite selling avian vitamins, medications (Noah's Animal Health products). QBBC Club membership available.
Hot & cold food & drinks available. Modern venue, toilets, hand-washing facilities. Outdoor trade area has a bitumen surface.
