The 'Bordoodle' is a hybrid breed resulting from crossing a poodle (which ever size ) and in my case a standard poodle, with a Border Collie . The benefits associated with first generation 'Bordoodles', include a more diverse genetic makeup than purebreds reducing possibilities of disease and other genetic conditions that affect the parent breeds. 'Bordoodles' are also hypoallergenic, that is, unlikely to cause allergy in humans. 'Bordoodle' have a thick soft coat that can grow either curly, straight, or wavy depending on the genetic contributions of each puppy. The breed 'Bordoodles' were designed so that families who did not live on a property would have the opportunity to own a dog from the Border Collie line. This gorgeous dog combines the intelligent farm breed with a poodle to create a more family friendly pet. This breed are fantastic with children as well as other animals. The 'Bordoodle' is an affectionate, loyal and intelligent companion, the perfect addition to any family. The 'Bordoodle' is a reasonably active breed so do require regular exercise. 'Bordoodles' require regular exercise and moderate to large sized yard as well as regular walks/runs. As 'Bordoodles' are very intelligent dogs it is important to incorporate puppy preschool into your training routine, not only is it good for obedience but the pups ability to socialize will be strengthened. Bordoodles are smart dogs. The Border Collie is the smartest dog in the world and the Poodle comes in at number two ahead of the German Shepherd. By breeding a Border Collie with a Poodle, you can expect to get a pretty intelligent dog that will be quick to learn commands and tricks. 'Bordoodles' are very trainable with the right positive methods. Our puppies are raised ethically in a loving home environment with children and other pets.They have a wonderful temperament, are super affectionate, playful and just thrive on being around their humans. And to ensure a quality life for our parent dogs while continuing to improve 'Bordoodle' genetics, we can at times offer guardian type homes to selected families, strict criteria applies otherwise each puppy will leave on a desexing contract. We have b/g in black and white pups -$3500 and merle pups still available. These pups are only a few days old and will be vaccinated, wormed every 2 weeks, micro-chipped and vet checked extensively and also come with a puppy contract and desexing agreement, as well as a puppy pack and advise from a breeder of over 20 years of border collies and poodles.
