The NSW Cichlid Society committee is committed to following the advice of NSW Health and providing a safe environment for our members and guests.

As a result of the COVID-19 situation in Victoria, we request that you to please do not attend the meeting if you or a member of your household has:

* Been to Victoria within the last 14 days
* Been in contact with anyone that has been to Victoria within the last 14 days
* Been in contact with anyone that has visited a Close Contact or Casual Contact location as listed on the NSW Health website (https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/Infectious/covid-19/Pages/case-locations-and-alerts.aspx)
* Have any symptoms as listed on the NSW Health website (https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/health-and-wellbeing/symptoms-and-testing)

The next NSW Cichlid Society Meeting and Mini Auction will be held on Saturday 3 July 2021, starting at 7.30pm, at Nuwarra Public School, Mckay Avenue, Moorebank NSW 2170. Members and guests can enter the hall from 6.30pm onwards.

MINI AUCTION
WHAT WILL BE FOR SALE?
We are expecting 70+ lots to go up for sale. We aren't able to advise what fish and goods will be available for sale as club members enter their lots on the night just before the auction starts.

An auction will typically have lots of the following for sale (but there is no guarantee these will be for sale on the night):

* African Cichlids - from Lake Malawi, Lake Tanganyika, Lake Victoria and also Rift Lakes.
* American Cichlids - a variety of species from large Central Americans to the smaller dwarf American cichlids
* Catfish and plecos - a variety of all different types of catfish, typically including bristlenose and L numbers
* Dry goods - breeding caves, driftwood, aquascaping rocks, filters, etc. Note only brand new electrical items are sold at the auction.

BIDDING RULES
If you want to bid on a fish, please do so early to save any disappointment when you miss out for bidding too late.? All bids are to be made in whole dollar units.

Bids will be in minimum amounts of
$1 increments from $1 to $20.
$2 increments from $20 to $50.
$5 increments beyond $50 and $10 bids after $100.
Note: auctioneers may accept bids less than the increments if they see fit.

PAYMENT
Cash only

Members Giveaway - Lucky door prize for members only on the night
Trade Table - For all of your fish food, bagging, and other needs
Supper Table - For your food, snack and drink needs
Raffle - Purchase raffle tickets for your chance to win some great prizes

ENTRY DETAILS
FINANCIAL MEMBERS
For those members who are financial - ENTRY IS FREE!
Members will be required to renew their membership as the July meeting will be the first meeting of the new financial year. You must be a financial member to be eligible for the members giveaway, enter lots into mini auctions, and collect lots for major auctions. See the membership team on the night at the door to renew your membership.

NON MEMBERS / VISITORS
Entry: $2 per person above 18 years of age (we may ask for ID)

COVID RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE
PLEASE NOTE: Limited seating will be available due to Covid restrictions. Seating cannot be reserved, and will be provided on a first in first served basis. Procedures will be in place at the meeting to ensure we comply with Covid regulations. All attending will need to fill in and submit the contact tracing QR Code on entry. Please be patient and follow the instructions of the committee representatives as they guide you to your designated seats.
