Palyoora/Plains rats/mice very rarely available and highly sought after normally only sold to zoos and wildlife parks

Tarkawara/kangaroo mice/Spinifex Hopping mice

Both of these species are able to be tamed

The hopping mice are highly curious and will jump on your hand take food from you etc

Plains rats wean skittish but tame down with a little age

These guys are happy to live in mixed sex groups and pairs

All animals unsexed

It’s said they have a life span of 2 years I’ve had many live to 4+ years

Main diet of bird seed with additional mix or fruit and veg

I find a 3ft glass reptile tank makes a great enclosure but they are pretty easy going and can tolerate many environments

they generally do not require any additional heating or cooling
