Everyone needs to be able to spot a scammer and save there hard earned $ and heartache, petlink admin don’t seem to be taking it seriously and deleting these adds or blocking them from posting so here is a few tips to follow
1 . If it’s seems to good to be true it usually is a scam
2 . Look at the return email address, if not Aussie it’s a scam
3. Very poor English used and pics are not there birds stolen pics
4. If contacting anyone ask for a landline , this has to be in Australia
5. Ask for people that they have dealt with and a contact numbers
6. Try to go view birds or if in another state ask a friend to view
7. Payments cash on pickup or an Aussie bank I’d doing this ask for a pic of there driving licence and or a rates or electricity bill in this name
Some you may think are a bit over the top but better to be over the top than an empty pocket and nothing to show for it
Good luck everyone and stay safe
