These guys are beautiful. A lovely example of the eclectus from the island of Aru in Indonesia. There are not many of these guys in Australia but they bond and breed well and do a very good job of feeding their young in an aviary setting.
Both these guys were weaned by their parents so are not tame even though they are fairly quiet and are learning to take almonds from my hand.

Both parents have won several awards at the Royal Easter Show and the Wollongong Show. A beautiful bird on the perch in the sunlight as their colours are vibrant and glisten as you sit back and watch them.

All our birds are fed a well balanced and nutritious diet.
