Meet Shrek, The Very Large Yellow-Crowned Amazon Parrot. I purchased him as a rescue for $2,200, I am looking for an experienced, very patient and loving forever home for Shrek.

Sadly it's time that dear beautiful Shrek needs to find his new home & this is due to him not getting along with our Flock members & he & the other birds are stressing each other out.

About Shrek:
Fully flighted & microchipped for peace of mind
Has lived with both indoor and outdoor aviaries
Loves water, showers and outdoor time
Enjoys landing on your arm, giving kisses, and of course food time WINS him over!
Says a few words, laughs, and can be loud (typical Amazon behaviour, especially at dawn & dusk)
Loves toys, chewing and enrichment
With continued patience, trust and routine, he has the potential to become more cuddly over time.
Shrek has the usual good and challenging traits youd expect from a rescue, but he truly is a handsome boy with a heart of gold once he bonds with you.

Im committed to finding him the best possible home with someone who understands Amazon parrots and has plenty of time for him.
