Red-fronted Macaw (Ara rubrogenys)

Unrelated pair bred at the research and breeding facility located near Canberra,ACT Australia.

Photographs are of birds on offer, they were bred, raised, and managed at PPC R&B.

All birds are Microchipped, DNA sexed, and have MTR's (the Federal Australian Government Movement Transaction Record).

PPC R&B is an Australian Government approved animal research establishment. PPC R&B also manages Australia's first and only CITES Registered Appendix I Captive Breeding Program and is a welfare accredited Zoo & Aquarium Association (ZAA) member.

Birds leave PPC R&B weaned physically and psychologically. All birds are in ideal feather and health.
