I have a mature male alexandrian, I've had him almost 2 years , was told he was 5 when I got him.
He was an aviary bird but quiet enough for me to gain his trust.
After his last moult his decided he doesnt like me anymore and now his wings have grown back his just happy doing his own thing.he spends all day out of his cage watching everything and having a fly around.
He would probably do better in a quieter house then I have or a big aviary with his own kind.
